Stadtvilla T. Hamburg

Architect - de Picciotto und Wittorf Architekten BDA

Role - Project Designer, Construction Documentation

Built in 1896, the residential building has been put to a variety of uses over the last 100 years and often reconverted to suit to each new use. The new owner's wish was to return the building to it's basic function as a residential property. The building's entire floor area was divided up into three housing units.

The usage of a family of 4 has been integrated into the design.

Existing walls have been kept or rebuilt, false ceiling removed and floor covering has been reconditioned.

White walls and ceilings, and the existing parquet floors have been combined with new black linoleum doors, black steel elements, concrete and natural stone.
