The addition "Dike House" in Durgerdam, North Holland.

The new small cottage is an abstract version of the existing house containing an extension of the living space. It is made of the same external cladding but in a charcoal colour. A horizontal plank has been replaced with a strip of glass which creates a window overlooking the dike and IJsselmeer.
